“Hotel Transylvania: Transformania,” the fourth and final installment in Sony’s animation franchise, will now premiere on July 23 instead of August 6.
More and more studios are taking advantage of gaps in the summer movie release Hotel Transylvania: Transformania schedule. “Hotel Transylvania: Transformania” was going to compete on screen with the premiere of the reboot of “Suicide Squad”, and now it will with “Old”, directed by M. Night Shyamalan. This installment of “Hotel Transylvania” is also scheduled to premiere the weekend after the July 16 Warner Bros. and HBO Max family release “Space Jam: A New Legacy.”
The film is the final chapter in Sony Pictures Animation’s millionaire film franchise that spawned three films as of 2012. The fourth part is directed by Jennifer Kluska and Derek Drymon, written by Genndy Tartakovsky and produced by Alice Dewey Goldstone, Selena Gomez, Genndy Tartakovsky and Michelle Murdocca.
Sony Pictures recently announced that it will open its first theme and water park with Amazon Falls, Aquaverse, in the coastal city of Bangsaray, Thailand.
